STF Arrests Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Sharpshooter After Encounter in Muzaffarnagar

Police revealed that Ravi Daurala had been a key operative of the Lawrence Bishnoi-Sunny Kakran gang and was actively involved in multiple high-profile crimes:

• In April 2025, he masterminded an ₹11 lakh robbery from a husk contractor in Muzaffarnagar’s New Mandi area.
• In February 2025, he and his associate Arvind shot a man in Delhi’s Keshavpuram, looting ₹4.5 lakh. For this case alone, a reward of ₹25,000 had been announced.
• In May 2023, Ravi and his gang demanded ₹5 lakh extortion money from a cloth merchant in Meerut. When the demand was refused, the gang shot at the trader’s son, leaving him critically injured. This incident led to an additional reward of ₹50,000 being placed on his head.

His involvement in robberies, extortion rackets, and contract killings has been reported from Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, and Delhi, making him one of the most wanted gangsters in western Uttar Pradesh.

Ravi is believed to have been operating under the direct influence of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and its regional associate Sunny Kakran. The Bishnoi gang, infamous for its involvement in contract killings and extortion across several states, has been on the radar of multiple law enforcement agencies after its name surfaced in several sensational crimes, including high-profile murder conspiracies and threats to celebrities.

Police sources said Ravi was tasked with strengthening the Bishnoi network in western Uttar Pradesh by carrying out targeted attacks, extortion, and intimidation of local businessmen.

SP City Satyanarayan Prajapat confirmed the arrest and called it a “big success” for law enforcement in the region.

“Ravi Daurala has been a key shooter for the Bishnoi gang and was wanted in more than 20 serious cases. His arrest will weaken the gang’s operations in Muzaffarnagar and Meerut,” the SP said.

He added that Ravi’s interrogation is expected to provide critical leads about the gang’s local network, its financial channels, and upcoming criminal plots.
