A Shift to Mindful Choices

In a candid conversation with Grazia India, the actress revealed that she has made a conscious decision to scale back her workload. “I no longer shoot five films at a time,” Samantha remarked. “The quantity may have reduced, but the quality of projects has definitely increased.” She emphasised that her current focus is on projects that truly resonate with her heart and purpose.

Projects That Matter

Samantha’s recent and upcoming work reflects this selective new path. She made a cameo appearance in the Telugu film Subham, which she also produced under her banner, Tralala Moving Pictures. Currently, she is deeply involved in the high-octane series Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom, directed by Raj and DK, alongside a stellar ensemble including Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jaideep Ahlawat. The series is slated to premiere in 2026.

Process Over Perks

Earlier in February, Samantha declared “I think I’m done being away from filming. It is my first true love.” She confirmed that Bangaram, a film she is producing and starring in, will begin filming soon.
